From The Principle's Desk
It gives me immense pleasure to write this message for the 25th year of Sumitra Public School.
25 years of existence is truly a significant milestone in the life of any educational institution. Our school motto, “Vimuktaye Vidya” has richly guided us in making enormous strides in the education of our children. The student strength of Sumitra Public School has grown from 20 in 1988 to 2000 in 2013. Our students are contribution in all spheres of life in the society.
A good educational institution is one that helps the overall development of a child – mind, body and character. To achieve this goal, we provide a wide array of programmes and activities so that each students can seize the opportunities afforded him/her. We are committed to attracting students of the highest caliber from our district and outside. We are equally committed to transforming each student entering our doors to become the best of the upper echelon of society.
We at Sumitra Public School endeavor to inspire and empower our students to meet the challenges of this global village. In this process, we inculcate in our students a sense of reasoning and independent thinking. “The important thing is not to stop questioning” says Albert Einstein. Questioning is indicative of the expanse of thought, hence innovations and creativity.
Many have played an integral part in the growth and development of this institution over the past 25 yrs. I acknowledge with gratitude, the sustained efforts and dedication of all those people who gave their time, energy and vision. How can I forget the indomitable spirit of our students!!
